Home of heavy stone.

I was fascinated by the thought of the stories this abandoned cottage could tell, so I concentrated on the door and a window, to give a feeling of the people who lived there.
It must have been back-breaking work to build houses out of heavy stone - and without machinery.

Do people who live in stone houses throw glasses?

Nice! I love doors and windows. I take many photos of them. Now I'm inspired to draw some if them. It's one of those Saturdays when one wanders all over the blogosphere and happily finds less words and more scenes such as your paintings - serenity, tranquility and pulchritudinous colors! Bravo!
